We're live on the App Store

tax-calculator.nl is now an iOS app. Everything that has been running on the web, salary, car tax, mortgage, holiday allowance, and the eigenwoningforfait calculator, is in your pocket now, no browser tab required.

What is in the app at launch

The income calculator, car tax (MRB), maximum mortgage, holiday allowance, and the eigenwoningforfait calculator are all free to use, no account needed. Mortgage deduction and the annual tax return calculator are there too, currently free for everyone while we run a free period on the whole app.

Why we built a native app

The calculators you actually reach for mid-conversation, checking a job offer with a recruiter, working out MRB before buying a car, looking up your eigenwoningforfait while a mortgage advisor is on the phone, rarely happen at a desk. A native app means those numbers are one tap away instead of a remembered URL and a slow mobile browser.

Same calculations, not a stripped-down version

The app runs the same tax engine as the website: the same 2026 Box 1 brackets, the same 30% ruling logic, the same eigenwoningforfait bands. If you already use the web calculator, nothing about how the numbers are worked out changes, it is just available somewhere else now too.

Quick answers

Is the app free?
Yes. The core calculators need no account at all, and every other feature is currently free for everyone while we run a free period on the app. Free usage is supported by the occasional ad.
Do I need an account?
Not for the income calculator, car tax, mortgage, holiday allowance, or eigenwoningforfait calculator. An account is only needed to save profiles or compare scenarios.
Is the app the same as the website?
Same tax engine, same rules, same results. The app is a native version built for quick, on-the-go use, not a separate or simplified calculator.
Is there an Android version?
Not yet, this launch is iOS only. The website works on any device in the meantime.

Ready?

Get the app and take your calculators with you.
